Please print out the order confirmation and enclose it with the parcel (alternatively, you can also enclose a note with the order number) so that the electronics can be matched to your order in our incoming goods department. This prevents longer processing times.
ATTENTION: Due to the removal of the old touch foil, it is unfortunately not possible to prevent some colours and paintwork from coming off during the repair process. Buttons and numbers may appear slightly blurred after replacing the film.
Repair Miele touch foil control panel (e.g. H5681BP).
For all oven-microwave combinations, steam cookers and ovens in the Miele 5000 series. Both touch foil with 19 buttons (DGC5080, DG5080, H5081, H5681) and with 20 buttons (H5080BM, DGC5080XL).
No 90 cm panels (these cannot be repaired).
The operating error is mainly caused by the touch foil on the back of the panel. This is installed in all oven-microwave combinations, steam cookers and ovens in the Miele 5000 series.
Classic error patterns are therefore:
- Power button works, but sensor buttons no longer respond
- Touch selection faulty
- Touch selection unresponsive
- Device can only be switched on, but not a single programme can be selected
- Numeric keypad is illuminated but does not respond
Explanation:
You send us the defective control panel with the touch foil and receive the repaired and tested control panel with a new touch foil back as quickly as possible. We aim to repair and return the delivered parts on the same day.
Please be sure to enclose a small note with a brief description of the fault and the machine type (e.g. H5681BP) in the parcel.
Procedure:
Carefully pack your removed control panel with the touch foil first in foil and then in a cardboard box. It would be helpful if you enclosed a brief description of the fault.

Tip: If possible, send the control panel as a parcel and not as a small package. If you send it as a parcel, there will be no tracking and tracing and insurance in the event of loss is not guaranteed.
We will repair and overhaul your control panel and send it back to you by return post. Return shipping is included in the price (within Germany).
